Discussion of the emergence of modernism in British poetry and its development in the first half of the twentieth century

Analysis of the connections between the poetic form and poetic language on the one hand, and the changing concepts of cultural, national, and gender identities in the aftermath of World War II on the other

Study of the conditions and mechanisms of the position of British poetry towards active redefinition of the changing social and cultural circumstances between the Two Wars and after 1945

Survey of the influences of the visual arts upon the development of British poetry especially at the beginning of the twentieth century, including the new discoveries in the fields of psychology, philosophy and aesthetics

Recognition of intertextual and extratextual conditions and their impacts on the reception of literary works of art
