The following three thematic sets are being discussed with the sociology of everyday life: theoretical introduction to sociology of everyday life, methodological issues of sociological research into everyday life and the critical analysis of selected aspects of everyday life:
I. Theoretical introduction into sociology of everyday life (Garfinkel, Schutz, Goffman …)
II. Methodology of researching everyday life (qualitative methodology: biographies, auto-biographies etc.)
III. Analysis of selected aspects of everyday life:
- Men and women in everyday life
- Life styles
- Emotions and feelings
- Understanding time
- Understanding space: living, home, trips
- Spending and consumption in everyday life
- Cultures of nutrition.
- Socializing and sociability
